Blackadder Goes Forth

One of TV’s most enduringly popular comedies returns to the Garrick stage, after the last memorable production in 2018.

Here, in all of their BAFTA-winning hilarity, are the adventures of the cynical Captain Edmund Blackadder, in his forlorn quest to survive the madness and buffoonery of all who surround him.

The play weaves together moments of uproarious comedy and poignant reflection, exploring the absurdity of war and the indomitable human spirit that persists even in the face of adversity.

With impeccable timing and a stellar cast, Blackadder Goes Forth promises an unforgettable evening of laughter, nostalgia and a fresh perspective on the timeless humour of this beloved classic.

A stage adaptation based on the original BBC Television Series. Created by Richard Curtis, Rowan Atkinson, Ben Elton and John Lloyd. Directed by Charlie Tomlinson. Presented by permission of United Agents Limited, with all royalty payments going to Comic Relief.

Content Warning: This production contains the use of theatrical haze and smoke, loud explosions, and live gunfire.
