You will look at colour schemes and ideas, prepare your cake for decorating, make your own buttercream, make the perfect chocolate ganache for a drip, crumb coat and cover your cake to achieve a smooth finish and add finishing touches. You will also get to do simple sugar paste work as well as filling French macarons and get recipes for delicious cakes, buttercream and ganaches.

NB: We will not bake in this class but we will supply you with a fresh vanilla sponge cake for you to fill, cover and decorate.
