Film - Tokyo Story
An elderly rural couple visit their adult children and families in Tokyo, but receive little consideration or attention. The film’s contemplative nature is reinforced by Ozu’s purity of style and the compassion and understanding shown in presenting his characters.
‘A film full of wisdom, understanding and acceptance of life that never ceases to move and amaze.’ – José Arroyo
