Chatterbooks is a fun and friendly reading group where children aged 7-12 years can discover great books, share their ideas and make new friends. Whether you're a keen reader or looking for your next favourite story, Chatterbooks is the perfect place to explore exciting adventures, laugh-out-loud characters and inspiring new worlds.

Through book discussions, activities, games and creative challenges, children can build confidence, develop communication skills and grow a lifelong love of reading. Reading for pleasure helps to boost vocabulary, spark imagination and support wellbeing, and Chatterbooks brings stories to life in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

It's completely free but places are limited – just register your interest by us by emailing libraries@trafford.gov.uk or calling 0161 912 3189.
