Textile Workshops
Join this creative and collaborative community art project to create a unique group tapestry. Using recycled and repurposed fabrics, participants will contribute to a shared artwork that celebrates the passing of skills, knowledge, stories and traditions through generations.
This is a chance to get involved in a meaningful piece of community art, regardless of your previous crafting or sewing experience. Whether you're experienced with textiles or simply keen to try something new, you'll be supported to contribute in a way that suits your skills.
Participants will have the chance to learn from one another, share their stories and talents, and reflect on the importance of community, heritage and creativity. The use of recycled materials also promotes sustainability and demonstrates how new and beautiful creations can emerge from existing resources.
Everyone is welcome to take part. For more information, please contact Ann on 07483 926240 or email rag.revival@groundwork.org.uk.
