Thursday Rhymetime at Altrincham Library
Sing, clap, wiggle and smile at Rhymetime! Join this fun and engaging session of songs, nursery rhymes, actions and movement for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. There are two sessions every Thursday that run in the exact same way - come along to the time that best suits you!
Rhymetime helps children build communication and listening skills, learn the sounds that form the building blocks of reading and encourages coordination. It’s a wonderful way to support early development while having lots of fun. Rhymetime also gives children the chance to socialise, be part of a group and build confidence.
For grown-ups, it's a great opportunity to spend quality time with their little one, meet other families and discover everything the library has to offer.
Jump up high, then touch the ground,
Let's make lots of rhyming sounds!
Sing, shake, wiggle and sway,
Come to Rhymetime and play today!
It's completely free and there is no need to book but places are limited - just collect a ticket on arrival and join in the fun! Tickets are available 15 minutes before the start time and place are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Each ticket is valid for one adult and one child over one year of age (children under one are welcome to attend but do not require a ticket).
