Wednesday Evening Writers' Group at Altrincham Library

Got a story to tell, a poem taking shape, or a brilliant idea that just won’t leave you alone? Join this Writers’ Group at Altrincham Library.

Whether you’re an experienced writer, returning to writing after a break, or have always fancied putting pen to paper, this writers’ group is a friendly and welcoming place to get creative. Share ideas, explore different styles of writing and find inspiration alongside other local writers. It’s a chance to develop your skills, build confidence and perhaps finally get started on that story, poem or novel that’s been lurking at the back of your mind.

Being part of a group also brings opportunities to meet new people, enjoy conversation, share encouragement and feel connected to a supportive creative community.

It's completely free and there is no need to sign up or book a place – just come along and join in!
