Trafford Roses Against Violence

Help to create 10,000 handmade purple roses as part of Trafford’s Roses Against Violence campaign for International Women’s Day. The roses will form a powerful public installation for International Women’s Day 2027, helping to shine a light on violence against women and girls and inspire collective action across Trafford.

Broken Chords - Manchester Month of Hope

Part concert, part confession, part love story, Broken Chords is a funny, moving and defiantly hopeful piece of gig theatre about love, loss and learning to live with grief.

When Cumbrian couple Kirstie Pelling and Stuart Wickes lost their 21-year-old son to suicide, they turned to songwriting – not to explain what had happened, but to find a way through it together. Now they bring their remarkable true story to Stretford, blending original songs, storytelling, spoken word and humour in an intimate theatrical performance.

Directed by former Dukes Artistic Director Joe Sumsion, Broken Chords comes to Stretford Public Hall as part of Greater Manchester’s Month of Hope and the Shining a Light on Suicide campaign.
