Stretford Public Hall

Stretford Public Hall is a community-owned, multi-purpose building run by Friends of Stretford Public Hall.

The venue provides an accessible community space and delivers a programme of events and activities, including arts, live music nights, community cinema, and health and wellbeing activities.

It is also one of six Community Hubs operating across Trafford, working closely with Trafford’s health and social care teams to provide support and access to services for local Stretford residents.

Any profit the venue makes from its activities is reinvested into the running and restoration of the hall.

Travelling here by car
Parking is available in the hall’s car park, which is adjacent to the hall on Dorset Street.

Please note that Dorset Street is a one-way street, so our car park can only be accessed via Chester Road. When leaving the car park, you must turn right and exit via Cyprus Street.

Our car park has 40 parking spaces, plus three dedicated disabled parking bays. If the car park is full, Stretford Mall offers 3 hours free parking and is a short 5 – 10 minute walk away.
Travelling here by train
The Hall is a short distance from Stretford tram stop. Visit the Transport for Greater Manchester website for maps and timetables for both buses and trams.

If you’re travelling from outside Manchester, visit the Trainline website for information about rail travel. Trains connect with the tram at Manchester Piccadilly station.
