Trafford Ecology Park is a peaceful green space with thriving wildlife, a unique history and a strong community spirit. The ideal place to slow down, explore and enjoy nature in an unexpected corner of Trafford Industrial Park. Visit and discover a calm, welcoming environment that’s easy to return to. 

As the site is maintained by volunteers, there are limited bin facilities - Trafford Ecology Park kindly requests that visitors take all their litter home. Unfortunately there are currently no toilets on site.

Travelling here by car
For Trafford Ecology Park (M17 1TU), take the M60 and exit at Junction 9, then follow signs for the A5081 (Parkway) towards Trafford Park. Continue on Parkway, turning onto Lake Road as you approach the venue. Trafford Ecology Park offers free on-site parking for visitors, with free parking also available on Lake Road.
Travelling here by other means
The park can be accessed via Tram (with a 15 minute walk from Village tram stop via the red line) and via bus (with the number 30 and 250 busses travelling via Piccadilly Gardens)
