Bushcraft and Winter Survival Workshops
Build confidence, learn practical outdoor skills and discover how to stay safe and comfortable during the winter months with these Winter Survival Skills Workshops from Theatre of the Senses. Designed for people of all experience levels, these hands-on sessions offer a unique opportunity to learn valuable survival and bushcraft techniques in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Participants will explore a wide range of practical skills, including recognising the signs of hypothermia, building shelters, selecting appropriate clothing and equipment and learning useful knots and cordage techniques. The workshops also cover sourcing natural materials, making string, locating, filtering, and purifying water, using tools safely, outdoor cooking methods, and a variety of fire-lighting techniques, from modern methods using a lighter through to traditional approaches such as bow drill fire-making.
No previous experience is necessary and participants are encouraged to learn at their own pace.
