Dementia Friendly Walks

Join City of Trees for a free dementia-friendly nature walk around Longford Park!

The walks take place on the last Wednesday of each month, May until October 2026. They're from 11am - 1pm and take the format of a gentle and accessible guided nature walk, followed by a nature based activity or craft (and biscuits and brews!).

They're for those living with dementia, their loved ones and their carers. The aim of the walks is to increase independence and confidence, get out in nature and to reduce social isolation.
