Mile Shy Club Walking Group

Mile Shy’s walks are open to everyone. As a club they cater for all abilities and adapt sessions to ensure they are fully inclusive. Walks will not generally exceed one mile. Meet outside the library at 1pm. Sessions are delivered and led by Advanced Walk Leaders, trained in working with people with long term physical and mental health conditions. Each session includes a warm up, gentle walk and a cool down session. Attendees are welcome to join the group for a drink after in the library.

The last session of every month relocates to Ashton-on-Mersey Golf Club (Church Lane, M33 5QQ), for a walk to the Riverbank Cafe for a drink and leisurely walk back.

Please note, the sessions cost £2 to join, and you can bring cash on the day. Before attending please complete the form on Mile Shy Club's website.
