Tuesday Afternoon Art Club at Urmston Library

Unleash your creativity, explore new ideas and enjoy good company at Urmston Library’s Art Club!

Whether you're an experienced artist, enjoy doodling in a sketchbook or simply want to try something new, this is a welcoming space where creativity can flourish.

Join fellow art enthusiasts for relaxed and inspiring sessions where you can draw, paint, sketch and create at your own pace. Share ideas, learn from others and experiment with different materials and techniques in a friendly, supportive environment. Whatever your style or skill level, you'll find encouragement and inspiration along the way.

Creating art is a wonderful way to support wellbeing, helping you to relax, reduce stress and improve mindfulness. Art can boost confidence, encourage self-expression and provide a real sense of accomplishment, while learning new skills helps keep the mind active and engaged.

The group is also a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and enjoy regular social connection. Friendships often grow through shared interests, and this Art Group offers plenty of opportunities for conversation, laughter and mutual encouragement.

Whether you're looking to develop your artistic skills, try a new hobby or simply enjoy a creative afternoon, head along and join in! It's completely free and there is no need to sign up or book a place.
