Tuesday Children's Hour at Woodsend Library

A fun-filled session with stories, singing, rhymes, craft and exciting adventures for children. Every week brings something different, from imaginative storytelling and action rhymes to themed crafts, puzzles, games and hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

It's a fantastic way for children to build confidence, make friends and develop a love of reading and learning in a welcoming library environment. Rhymes and storytelling help children develop language, listening and communication skills, while crafts and games encourage creativity, problem-solving and social interaction.

Parents and carers are encouraged to join in too, whether that's helping with a craft activity, joining in with the rhymes or sharing a story together.

Read a story, sing a rhyme,
Make and play, it's Children's Time!
Craft, create and explore for more,
Fun awaits at Children's Hour!

It's completely free and there is no need to sign up or book a place - places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Just come along and join in!
