Monday Afternoon Chair Yoga at Urmston Library

Stretch, breathe and take a little time for you with Chair Yoga. These friendly and accessible Chair Yoga classes feature gentle stretches and breathing exercises. Sessions are suitable for all levels and abilities, so you don't need any previous yoga experience to take part.

Chair Yoga offers a gentle way to keep moving without having to get down onto a yoga mat. The movements can help support flexibility, mobility and relaxation, while the focus on breathing and mindful movement provides an opportunity to slow down, unwind and give your wellbeing a boost.

So pull up a chair, take a breath and give it a go. No complicated poses, no need to be super flexible, just gentle movement and a little time to relax!

No need to book, although places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis - tickets go on sale 30-minutes before the session start time.
