Monday Afternoon Scrabble Club at Urmston Library

Love words, puzzles and a bit of friendly competition?

Come along to Scrabble Club at Urmston Library for a relaxed and sociable session where you can exercise your brain, meet new people and enjoy a few laughs along the way.

Whether you're a Scrabble superstar or haven't played for years, everyone is welcome. Challenge yourself to find that elusive triple-word score, discover words you never knew existed and pick up a few clever tactics from your fellow players.

Playing word games is also a great way to give your brain a workout. Scrabble encourages concentration, memory, vocabulary and problem-solving, while taking time out for an enjoyable activity can help you relax and switch off from everyday stresses.

It's completely free and there is no need to sign up or book a place – just come along and join in.
