Saturday Knitwits Knitting Group at Stretford Library

Stitch, chat and create at the Knitwits Knitting Group! Whether you're an experienced knitter, picking up the needles again after a break, or looking to learn a new skill, this friendly knitting group offers a warm welcome to everyone.

Join fellow crafters for relaxed sessions filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of inspiration. Bring along your latest project, share tips and techniques, swap ideas or simply enjoy spending time with others who love knitting and yarn crafts.

Knitting is a wonderful way to unwind, improve concentration and learn new skills, while the social side of the group offers opportunities to meet new people, build friendships and connect with your local community. Crafting together also provides a sense of achievement, boosts wellbeing and creates lasting friendships. There's no pressure and no competition, just a warm atmosphere, friendly company and the chance to enjoy a shared hobby.

So, grab your needles, bring your yarn and join in for a few hours of stitches, smiles and good conversation.

It's completely free and there is no need to sign up or book a place – just come along and join in. To find out more information on the library and its facilities, just click on venue; for anything else visit the Trafford Libraries website or pop into the library.
