Timperley Library
Timperley Library is a welcoming and vibrant community space, providing a place where people of all ages can come together to read, learn, work and connect.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of books and digital resources, free computer and Wi-Fi access, comfortable reading and study spaces, as well as modern and flexible event and meeting facilities suitable for community groups and creatives.
The library is host to a range of events and activities for all ages, helping to bring people together to create, engage and connect.
From M56 Junction 6 take the A538 (Wilmslow Road) toward Hale and Altrincham, heading straight through Hale Barns, before turning right onto Delahays Road (B5165).
Continuing straight on as it becomes Thorley Lane, heading into Timperley village, turn right onto Stockport Road (A560) where the library building is on the left and the library located on the first floor.
A short stay car park is located just behind the building with limited on-street parking available on nearby roads.
By Tram take the Metrolink Green Line directly to Timperley Metrolink Station.
Exit the station onto Park Road and walk straight ahead for 12-minutes into the village centre (or take the Bee Network 245 bus connection).
Turn right at the crossroads onto Stockport Road, walking for 2-minutes to the library building where the library is located on the first floor.
Travelling by rail? Take the Northern Rail line from Manchester Oxford Road or Piccadilly Station to Navigation Road Station, which connects seamlessly to the tram line.
Take the Bee Network lines 11, 23, 245, or 370.
Exit at the Bloomsbury Lane or Hare and Hounds stop on Stockport Road.
